Independence Day Korean, American, Australian Style

9 Jul

Hey all.  Not much time this week, so just a quick note! I hope everyone is doing well!

This week has been a pretty mundane one except for one thing. IT WAS THE 4TH OF JULY! We walked around all day singing patriotic tunes and talking about democracy and freedom. For dinner we ate at the most American restaurant we could find “Outback Steakhouse.”

Oh, that’s right.  It’s not Super American.  In fact, it has an Australian theme.

That’s okay though because nothing smells more like Democracy than a full rack of baby back ribs, with Kimchi of course!  It was really nothing super special, but it was good to think about home and hang out with our district.

Other than that things are going really just about the same! Still haven’t gotten rid of that dang couch yet, but that will come in the next couple weeks!

Anyways, today when you finish this, pick up the phone and Call your Mom and Dad and tell them that you love them. Tell them I love them too!

I hope everyone is well. thank you for the well wishes and the love!

Talk to you next week!
