Rain!

Rain

The word of the week is 비, which means rain. The rainy season has started in Korea.  In other words, I am currently, and will be for the next month or so, soaked . . . all day. It’s Wonderful! (insert sarcastic font)

New fun fact of the week: the paperback Books of Mormon that we hand out?  They bleed blue!   The blue stuff stains everything and is literally impossible to get off your hands or anything else.  So know that next time you have to hold one all day in the rain.

This week we have been trying to stay out of the rain some by meeting with Ward Members.  We hope that they will introduce us to their friends who might be interested in the message of Jesus Christ.  In Korea, 90% of the people who join the church are a result of member referrals.  So we try and focus on getting members to share the names of their friends as much as possible.   It is a daunting task though.  Koreans are hesitant to give their friends away. But when they do, it can bring miracles. Please help the missionaries in your area!  They desperately need it.

I love you all! Talk to you next week! Sorry for the short blog this week! 😦 I’m busy out here!
